Penny Black Blog Day 3 & 4!

Hi!!

I am on the Penny Black blog this week and wanted to show you the card for today (and yesterday). Check out the blog for details on how I made them. All supplies are Penny Black and they are listed on the blog too!

PB Thank You

Can you believe that is a peony background stamp embossed in snow powder? Me either!

PB Thinking of you

the thin letters of the sentiment stuck easily on the wet embossing paste so there was no need for adhesive! I got the color combination from this pin found in my inspired by Pinterest board!

Tomorrow is my last day with Penny Black, I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am!

  12. Your first is a very different creation – striking the way that the black die-cut frame pulls the eye towards the sentiment. A lovely use of asymmetry made more powerful by the subtle weight added with the vellum leaves. The snow powder embossed background stamping gives an amazing texture.
Your second shows a striking use of colour for the sentiment which the textured background leads the eye down towards. I love the tiny touch of turquoise in one of the pennants which ties in with the sentiment.
